About Us

Hi! We’re Shal and James — adventure addicts, luxury lovers, and proud members of the “why not both?” club (waterfalls by day, 5-star pillows by night).

While we aren’t digital nomads, travel has been the heartbeat of our relationship from the very beginning. Our very first trip together was a whirlwind through Morocco in 2010 — we got gloriously lost in the Marrakesh medina, hiked the Atlas Mountains, and lived like royalty in a palace in Fes. From that moment on, we were hooked on affordable luxury travel (and each other, obviously).

With NYC as our home base, we focused on exploring Central and South America, chasing wonders of the world (and tacos), before moving across the pond to the UK in 2013 — and yep, we’re still at it.

Instead of swapping holiday gifts, we surprise each other with birthday getaways — one of us books it, the other shows up with a passport and blind trust. So far, no regrets! And come Christmas, our tree is covered in trinkets from every country we’ve roamed.
